Polydactyly Condition
It is called polydactyly syndrome, when a child is born with additional fingers or toes, either on one or both hands or feet. This condition can lead to a unique life experience for the child, as they have to navigate tasks such as writing and walking with the presence of extra digits, which can be challenging.
As depicted by this little one, having polydactyly is not uncommon. However, a question arises as to whether some parents would opt for surgical removal of the extra digits or choose to let them remain. The idea of undergoing such a procedure might seem painful and raises ethical considerations.
