Most people would just wait a few minutes or even go up to the counter to pay. It’s a trashy and quite weird response to answer by signing the table in ketchup. Not to mention, nothing about this action solves the problem they were originally upset about!
In situations like this, patience and effective communication with the restaurant staff would have been a far more reasonable and respectful approach. Resorting to such behavior not only creates extra work for the restaurant employees but also reflects poorly on the individual responsible. It’s essential to handle frustration or dissatisfaction in a more constructive and considerate manner.
