Don’t Pet the Animals
There have been incidents in which sea lions have injured humans. Sea lions can respond aggressively to disturbances in the wild. There’s no way to determine just how a sea lion will react when you’re standing right in its territory.
Sea lions are cute and look harmless, but that’s not a green light to go up and pet them. Not to mention, a seal lion’s home is rocky and wet and can be very dangerous to those not wearing any safety gear.
