Bill is best known for his role as Sid Fields on “Seinfeld,” he was also known for his work as a cartoonist, with his cartoons published in prestigious publications like The New Yorker and Playboy.
In 2010, Bill Erwin died from natural causes in his California home. He outlived his wife of nearly 50 years, Fran MacLachlan, and they left behind four children: Michael, Timothy, Lindsey, and Kelly. Bill’s final acting role was in a 2006 episode of “My Name Is Earl.”
