Billie Bird in Real Life
Billie Bird made her television debut in the 1950s and began her acting career. Her first-ever role was playing a schoolteacher in the western film “Dallas,” followed by six appearances in six different movies a year later. Diehard fans of “The Wonder Years” might recall seeing Billie in two episodes.
Others may remember her as Mrs. Stanwyck in “Police Academy 6: City Under Siege.” Tragically, she passed away in 2002 due to Alzheimer’s disease. Her role in Home Alone was one of her final acting gigs before retiring from the entertainment world. Her three children survive her.
