Ludwig van Beethoven
Ludwig van Beethoven, the celebrated German composer and pianist, was born in 1770. At a mere 13 years of age, he achieved the remarkable feat of publishing his first piece of keyboard variations, embarking on a prolific journey that would ultimately see him losing his hearing in 1814.
While his music resonated with beauty and elegance, Beethoven’s demeanor was not characterized by grace. His brooding eyes beneath thick eyebrows and a cleft chin seemed to convey the essence of his pride and genuine honesty.
