Gabby Douglas
Gabby Douglas owes her early success in the world of gymnastics to her older sister. It was her sister who taught young Gabby the art of cartwheeling, setting in motion a chain of events that would transform her into one of the most exceptionally talented professional gymnasts of her generation.
By the age of 14, Gabby had committed herself fully to training, and her dedication paid off when she started winning gold medals in prestigious competitions as early as 2010. Notably, she made history as the first African American athlete to achieve the remarkable feat of becoming an All-Around Gold Medalist at the Summer Olympics.
