And just like that, they confused “pothead” with “Potterhead.” A Potterhead is an ardent fan of the Harry Potter books by J.K. Rowling, while a pothead is, well, someone who uses cannabis. It’s certainly not the most embarrassing story on the list, and the fact that it occurred in a Facebook post rather than a face-to-face exchange alleviates some of the awkwardness, in my opinion.
