Boston Accents Are Fascinating
Honestly, it probably sounded like they were saying “potty.” Somehow, Bostonian accents have a way of making “car” rhyme with “spa.” As someone from the South, I’d likely have responded the same way, although I might have also asked for the location for future reference. Knowing where the restroom is can be valuable information, especially at the beach.
Hopefully, Jay accepted their offer and enjoyed partying on the beach. Perhaps he even picked up a bit of the Boston accent along the way! That could make for a fun time, especially after a few drinks. I’d be curious to know what they call a restroom in Boston.
