Anne’s life was marked by relentless physical suffering, grappling with chronic and excruciating illnesses from an early age. Among the afflictions, her most prominent struggle was with an eye condition known as “defluxion,” characterized by excessive watering. This persistent health challenge, along with other ailments, cast a shadow over her entire existence.
