Self-Built Cars
When we refer to a self-built car, we are not implying the construction of a fully compliant and roadworthy vehicle. Rather, we are referring to the creation of a mode of transportation, regardless of its unconventional nature, for the purpose of moving from one location to another. The image provided below serves as an illustrative example. It goes without saying that such a vehicle would not be legally drivable in the United States.
However, in regions where traffic regulations are less stringent, it is not uncommon to encounter objects on public roads that challenge our conventional definition of a “vehicle.”
