Traditionally, a woman takes her husband’s last name after marriage. Nowadays, however, people are more open-minded, and couples can do whatever they want. A bride can keep her last name, and the groom can take her last name; they can change their last names to “Princess Consuela Banana Hammock,” whatever. In this situation, the couple’s last name raised some eyebrows.
Well, it’s safe to say this bride’s half-joking wish came true! Her reaction to the priest calling them by her last name is priceless. However, we wish there was another picture of the father-in-law’s response. Is the father-in-law rapidly whispering curses to smite his daughter-in-law and the priest? Or does he have a look of pure disdain on his face? Either way, it’s a funny situation.
