Dawn French, a versatile British actress, writer, and comedian, has enjoyed a highly successful career. She is most renowned for her role as Geraldine Granger in the beloved sitcom “The Vicar of Dibley.” Additionally, she co-created and starred in the comedy sketch show “French and Saunders” alongside her comedy partner, Jennifer Saunders.
French has received seven BAFTA nominations and was honored with a BAFTA Fellowship, shared with Saunders. Recently, she has graced the screen as Gina Benelli in the series “Delicious” and continues to entertain audiences with her work in “French and Saunders.”
