Coffee Beans
Despite their name, coffee beans are quite distinct in their growth process. They strongly resemble cherries during their development, a surprising fact for many. Even in this state, the beans are caffeinated, though they are not yet palatable for consumption.
The transformation of coffee beans into the beloved morning beverage is complex. Historically, people used them to create a drink akin to wine before they evolved into the coffee we know today. While they are a powerful wake-up aid, consuming them in excess, such as 30 cups daily, is not advisable.
