Diana Muldaur- Then
Diana Muldaur made her mark in the Star Trek universe when she portrayed Dr. Katherine Pulaski on Star Trek: The Next Generation. Her character was introduced as a temporary replacement for Dr. Commander Beverly C. Crusher during Crusher’s assignment at Starfleet Medical.
As the chief medical officer aboard the Federation starship U.S.S. Enterprise-D, Dr. Pulaski brought her unique perspective and dynamic to the crew. Interestingly, Diana Muldaur had appeared in Star Trek: The Original Series as a guest star some 20 years prior. Returning to the same beloved universe, she enthusiastically stated, “I love being back in Star Trek. It’s a challenge, but a healthy challenge.”
