Sharon Acker’s career flourished beyond her Star Trek appearance, establishing her as a noteworthy talent in the entertainment industry. One of her most prominent roles was portraying Della Street in “The New Perry Mason.” Additionally, she graced the stage in a C.B.C. production of Shakespeare’s “Macbeth,” where she shared the spotlight with the renowned actor Sean Connery.
Acker’s journey in show business began in 1957 when she made her mark in the British comedy film “Lucky Jim.” Her on-screen presence and celebrity status endured for many years until her retirement in 1992, when she decided to step away from her role as a doctor on the soap opera “The Young and the Restless.”
