Martha Hackett is most renowned for portraying Seska in Star Trek: Voyager. Still, she also appeared in a few episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, playing a different character—a Romulan rather than a Cardassian.
As Seska, she transformed to appear Bajoran as part of her infiltration into the Maquis rebels while working as a spy among them. Her journey eventually led her to the U.S.S. Voyager, where she grappled with the challenges of adapting to the high moral standards and regulations of Starfleet, which often clashed with her own beliefs and allegiances.
