Protesting the Case
As the trial began, both lawyers presented their opening arguments. Lucy’s attorney outlined her case: five years ago, Lucy became a mother. Although she and Jack were no longer together, she had a DNA test done, which confirmed that Jack was the father of her son. This meant Jack was responsible for five years of unpaid child support.
Jack’s attorney argued that Jack had no connection to the child, emphasizing that their breakup had been due to Lucy’s refusal to start a family with him.
