Lana Turner’s romantic life was filled with highs and lows, with actor Tyrone Power being the love of her life, though they never exchanged vows. However, Turner did walk down the aisle with seven other men, totaling eight marriages in her lifetime. In 1939, she eloped with clarinet player Artie Shaw, but their union hit a sour note, lasting only four months. Subsequently, she married actor Joseph Stephen Crane twice.
Her other spouses included millionaire Henry J. Topping, actor Lex Barker, businessman Fred May, and Hollywood Playboy Robert Eaton. Unfortunately, her last marriage to hypnotist and fraudster Ronald Dante left a bitter taste, leading Turner to remain unmarried until her passing in 1995.
