Kesha

Throughout history, various bizarre health fads have claimed to facilitate weight loss. Even in the 1950s, there was the Maria Callas’ Diet, where people intentionally ingested tapeworms to shed pounds. But what pop singer Kesha did is equally unconventional.

Engaging in such practices comes with significant health risks, not solely due to the revolting nature of it. Introducing tapeworms into the body can lead to kidney damage because the organs must work doubly hard to eliminate the toxins from this “diet.” It’s far more advisable for Kesha to consider exercise as a means of burning calories.
