Suggestion Setback: Perhaps Keeping Ideas to Oneself Is Best
Bridesmaids are an integral part of most weddings. They provide emotional support and pep talks while also assisting the bride (and sometimes the groom) in planning the ceremony. However, there are occasions when their ideas may not be the best, as evidenced by this particular story.
In this instance, the couple had chosen a picturesque lakeside location for their wedding. One of the bridesmaids had an idea, albeit not the most brilliant one. She suggested that the newlyweds, groomsmen, and bridesmaids should all gather on the dock for a memorable picture. Unfortunately, the dock was not structurally sound enough to withstand the weight, resulting in a catastrophic collapse. It was truly an epic fail of monumental proportions!
