Lil’ Kim first faced homelessness at just eight years old when her mother left her father, and they lived in their car.
As a teenager, Kim moved back in with her father, but he eventually kicked her out, leaving her homeless again. She relied on friends for a place to stay until she met Notorious B.I.G., who mentored her and helped launch her music career.
