Dr. Phil
Before he was Dr. Phil, Phil McGraw and his father were homeless. He lived in a car when he was 12 years old and recalls even sleeping in a cardboard box at times. They eventually moved into a one-bedroom apartment but couldn’t afford utilities for the first four months.
Today, Dr. Phil is a successful talk show host who gives back through numerous charities, including his own Dr. Phil Foundation.
