Ned Stark
Eddard Stark, widely known as Ned Stark, had his fate sealed from the very beginning of “Game of Thrones,” particularly with the casting of Sean Bean for the role. His tragic end was nearly inevitable, even for those unfamiliar with the books prior to the show’s release.
Just like his children, the show aged Ned, aligning his age more closely with Sean Bean’s portrayal, despite the character being described as in his mid-30s in the books. This decision to alter his age may have stemmed from the production team’s strong desire to have Sean Bean in the role, a choice that’s certainly understandable.
