Celebrated American actress and filmmaker Laura Dern has firmly etched her name amongst Hollywood’s elite. Dern’s entrée into stardom began in the 1980s with standout performances in films like Mask alongside Jim Carrey (1985) and the enigmatic Blue Velvet directed by David Lynch (1986).
It wasn’t until her riveting portrayal of Ellie Sattler in Steven Spielberg’s monumental Jurassic Park in 1993 that she attained global acclaim. Almost three decades have passed since her adventures in the dino-laden Isla Nublar, but time seems to have left Dern untouched.
